I also struggle with the transition from winter to spring--as you say: it is time to trust that the sour feelings will sweeten over time, like they always do.
We've been diving down and rapidly rising here as well (I'm talking about temperature, but I could also be talking about my emotions). Your home looks cozy! And the cat watching Flow:).
I love spring, but I don't love the rough transition from winter. I get grumpy because the cold keeps trying to claw back the warmth! I start to be in denial about how cold the morning actually is and don't wear enough layers, and then am unhappy about my discomfort. It's self induced, but no less aggravating to me!
Your photos are beautiful, and the weaving is gorgeous!
My sister lives in Vermont. She told me Vermont has six seasons - winter, mud, spring, summer, fall and stick (after the leaves have fallen off the trees).
In MN we hardly have a spring. It seems as if one day there’s a huge pile of snow and you wonder if it will be gone by the 4th of July. Then, voila!, it’s the middle of May, 80 degrees, and everything is green. But, it could still snow again…
And here I thought I was the only person that hates spring!!!! I love the dark, coziness of winter, of being home and away from peoply things. Spring means pollen, weeds, messy yards and cleaning decks and siding and ugh! And don’t get me started on red bud, dogwood, blackberry winters! Get me to May the 20th and I’ll be ok!

That pile of books looks like a lot of fun! And I love your idea with the bugs! So beautiful!!
You are not only a great weaver but also a great photographer.
I hope the sludge goes away soon. We have things blooming around here, so I take allergy meds.
Christine & I also are not fans of Spring. I think in the Northland it's Autumn that's the best.
